An exhibition showcasing some of Australia’s leading female photographers has opened in Sydney.
Organised by the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP), and running as part of the Head On photography festival, the exhibition will be on display until Sunday 11 June at Art Est. Gallery Studio 4 in Leichhardt.
“We are seeing an increasing number of women enter the profession and these images are testament to the outstanding work by female photographers in this country,” said AIPP Vice President Kylie Lyons who will officially open the exhibition at 6pm.
“Each of the stunning images has received a gold award at the Canon AIPP Australian Professional Photography Awards – the most coveted awards in the country,” continued Lyons.
