Angelbird announces AV PRO SE CFexpress Type B v4 memory cards

Austrian company Angelbird has released its newest CFexpress Type B memory cards, featuring fast v4 Type B technology.

The cards, which come in capacities including 512GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB, feature sustained write speeds of up to 3150 MB/s, meaning they can support 12K + RAW video. That's double the speed of the previous CFexpress v2 Type B cards.

They are also backward compatible with all camera models using the CFexpress Type B memory card format.

In addition, 'Advanced Thermal Management' helps to protect the cards from overheating along with shooting in more extreme environments, and the cards are capable of withstanding temperatures from 12°C to 72°C.

It's worth noting that depending on capacity, there are some differences with read and write speeds however:

• 512GB
  Maximum speeds: Read: 3700 MB/s, Write: 1100 MB/s
  Sustained speeds: Read: 3500 MB/s, Write: 1050 MB/s
• 1TB
  Maximum speeds: Read: 3700 MB/s, Write: 2300 MB/s
  Sustained speeds: Read: 3500 MB/s, Write: 2100 MB/s
• 2TB and 4TB
  Maximum speeds: Read: 3700 MB/s, Write: 3500 MB/s
  Sustained speeds: Read: 3500 MB/s, Write: 3150 MB/s

The new cards are available now, and come with a three-year warranty.
