Meike announces cut-price autofocus 85mm f1.8 Pro lens
Hong Kong-based lens maker Meike has announced the 85mm F1.8 Pro, a full-frame autofocus lens for Nikon Z-mount, Sony E-mount, and L-mount cameras.
It's the second lens in Meike's upmarket Pro series, joining the previously released Meike 55mm f/1.8 Pro, and is also cheaper than Mieke's faster 85mm F1.4 MIX series lens.
A popular focal length for portrait photographers, the Meike 85mm f/1.8 Pro's standout feature is probably the fact it retails for just $525, a great price considering it offers full autofocus.
The lens also features an external aperture ring, and in its Sony E-Mount form weighs just 389g. It takes a 62mm filter.
