TTArtisan announces two new 75mm lenses
Lens manufacturer TTArtisan has announced two new 75mm lenses with unique characteristics.
The first is the AF 75mm f/2 lens, the company’s first full frame lens with autofocusing. It'll come in Sony E and Nikon Z mounts, and features an all-metal construction plus a fast and near silent lead screw focus stepping motor.
In addition, it includes a USB-C interface on the rear lens cap to allow for firmware updates to be installed.
Internally, the optical design consists of 10 elements in seven groups, with nine diaphragm blades and a filter size of 62 mm.
The lens has a minimum focus distance of 75cm and weighs between 328 and 340 grams, depending on the mount type.
The E-mount lens is 74mm long, while the Z-mount lens measures 76mm.
Both versions are priced at $359 AUD.
The other new addition is the TTArtisan 75mm f/1.5 Swirly Bokeh lens, a completely manual lens with an M42 mount that can accept a wide variety of adapters, enabling this lens to be used on almost all camera models - Canon, Fujifilm, Hasselblad, Nikon, Pentax and Sony cameras.
TTArtisan says the lens is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminium, and features metal front and rear caps and a clicked aperture ring.
It also includes a depth-of-field scale and a manual focusing ring with grip mouldings.
The lens will retail for $539 AUD.
Both lenses are available for pre-order now. You can find out more about them via local distributor Blonde Robot.
