Hi Graham,

You have used good technique in creating this image; resting your camera on a steady surface and then using a slow shutter speed is a great way of illustrating motion within an environment. 

I think you have a good understanding of the moment; there is good placement of those people and as you look about the scene you can see small stories revolving. The one thing that detracts from the scene though, is that rather high ceiling; those bright lights keep wanting to draw my eyes upwards and unfortunately there is not much to see there.

There are two changes  I would make to the photograph, the first being to crop out the ceiling. As soon as you do this you begin to enjoy the motion on the floor a lot more.

The second adjustment I would make is to lighten the image  using the curves adjustment – suddenly all that motion becomes a lot clearer.

Keep working that location; I think it is a great spot.
