Hi Michael,
This looks like a great location to be spending a holiday… but to get the best landscape photographs from this location you probably need to spend more time looking beyond the human constructs of the environment. What I mean by this is the fabricated foreshore, and the concrete drain structure that is near the centre of the photo.
If you get the chance, go back to this location and try making some more photographs. What I would do next time though, would be to look beyond the obvious and instead concentrate on looking at the elements that make this location special.
As they say in advertising, accentuate the positive... and eliminate all that boring man-made stuff that grounds us to reality!!
