I like the quietness within this image, and I also like that you can see the city appearing in the distance beyond the end of the jetty.
Now, no matter what discipline you are working in, one of the old mantras has always been to ensure that a technique never overshadows the message. In my music days, that usually translated to “less is more”.
In this image I like the softening that you have applied to the photograph using Nik Software – but (there's always a 'but') the vignetting is too heavy, to the point that it is the first thing that you notice when you look at this image.
My advice would be to go back to the original file, but this time apply less of the vignette.
Before applying the vignette, I would also crop some of the sky from the photograph… those clouds are beautiful and a small crop will make them a stronger part of your photograph.
