Hi Alexander,
This is a good photo, and in some ways you could describe it as the visual equivalent of a double entendre.
Astronomical photography has become popular in recent years and at first glance this photograph could easily be mistaken for a photograph of the night sky. It is in fact a photograph of the night sky, but it is not stars that we are seeing but fireworks going off is what makes it magical.
Quite some time ago a friend of mine exhibited a large print of oil on water. The image was underexposed so that the pavement on the ground almost appeared black, while the very thin layer of oil took on the appearance of stellar gases. It is this duplicity that can give ordinary photographs a much deeper appeal.
I think this image would look great presented as a large print with a simple border. The main thing I would be keeping an eye on though would be the choice of print material. Ideally you want to get the blacks in the image looking clean and smooth. This will help add depth to the image.
Otherwise, good effort.
Cheers,
Anthony
