Sunflowers can be a great subject to work with and much of their appeal is in the bright colours.
What I think is worthwhile remembering though, is just as you can dilute drinks and other mixtures, you can also dilute the colour content and impact of a photograph if you are not careful.
With this photograph we get to enjoy the sunflowers in the middle of the picture, but my eyes keep getting drawn to the bright edges around the flowers.
One option to fix this would be to crop the photograph, but cropping large amounts from the edge of a photograph should be something of a last resort.
The next time you have the opportunity to make an photo like this use a longer lens and do the cropping in camera. Move back, zoom and chances are you will get more impact and interest in the photo.
