Hi Kara,
Converging lines are be a good design element to use in a photograph, but they tend to work best when those lines lead you to another element within the frame. Sadly, that does not happen in this photograph.
The question is then, what do you add to the image to start making the idea a little more unique?
One simple answer is to have a pair of feet coming towards you in the photograph. As you can guess, there are a lot of variations on feet… from bare feet to old feet, feet in shoes, feet in boots… the choice is yours. That idea has been given a good hammering over the years though.
Then you can have animals coming over the bridge towards you, kids on bikes, old people with dogs.
I would give thought to going back to revisit this location, but start asking yourself what you can do to make this image stronger and more interesting. It might be something that you can enter the photograph, it doesn't have to be something as obvious as you might think.
Don't take this as a criticism, Kara; take it as a challenge to explore and idea a little further.
Cheers,
Anthony
