These sorts of travel shots are quite pleasant but just a bit too ‘generalist’ to make it into the big league.
This really needs a point of interest in the foreground, something like a boat passing - right in front of you - with someone wearing one of those wonderful conical hats and facing the camera. Yes, I know it’s wishful thinking!
With a general shot, the eye wanders around the place, looking for something to hold its attention, ie. a point of focus, and you just get the sense that something is missing. However, you have done quite well with your adjustments – they are subtle and unobtrusive.
TIP: If you want to learn how to take great travel shots, look at taking a photo tour (can be short or long) with a photographer/teacher to help and advise.
