25 finalists from the world's biggest photo competition

The world's largest photo competition, The EyeEm Photography Awards, has just announced their 100 finalists for 2017. This year, the global competition received over 590,000 entries from over 88,000 photographers around the world.

There are five categories in the competition: The Architect, The Great Outdoors, The Photojournalist, The Portraitist, and The Street Photographer.

Below are a selection of our favourite shots. Winners will be announced at the 2017 EyeEm Photography Festival in Berlin, September 15-17, 2017.
