A huge thanks to everyone who entered our free monthly photo comp for June, with the theme of 'Portraiture'.
Our overall winner chosen by the AP team as Troy Pears, with his image Volunteers.
AP's Mike O'Connor described the image as capturing a real sense of mood and atmosphere.
"What I really liked about Volunteers was the sense of the environment Troy captured with his image. We don't know where these guys are, except that its dusty, dry and very Australian. It's an image that transports the viewer into this environment, and for me, that makes it a winner this month."
Troy wins a 12-month print subscription to AP or Capture magazine.
Mike also chose two special mentions, Alicia Rowe's Sorrow in dire's name, and Kirsty Collister's Hong Kong Lady.
Over on Facebook, our People's Choice went to Lisa Lawrie, with her image Welcome to the farm bagging 147 votes at competition close.
Lisa wins a 12 month digital subscription to either AP or Capture.
If you'd like to enter our free monthly photo comp, our July competition is now open for entries. The theme is 'Winter', and you can enter here before the end of the month.
