AP's free monthly photo comp 'Lines, shapes and patterns' - the winners!
Congratulations to the winners in our free monthly photo comp for March, with the theme of Lines, shapes and patterns.
Our judge's pick this month was Holly Mcseveney, with her image The light behind the door.

The image she tells us, was captured with some "unorthodox long exposure techniques, a fisheye lens and a long exposure using the light shining from the hallway through the edge of the door - with no photoshop!"
We loved Holly's image because it uses all three elements of the theme while also being both creative and artistically interesting - the abstract results of Holly's technique make for a really captivating image.
We also chose three special mentions, Lisa Lawrie's Closed for the day, and Anthony Kwok Chueng's Curves and lines.

Over on Facebook, Theresa Lee took out the People's Choice vote, with her image Spotted In Stripes bagging 42 votes at competition close.

Holly wins a 12 month print subscription to Australian Photography or Capture, and Theresa a 12 month digital subscription for taking out the People's choice vote.
Our April competition is now open for entries. The theme is 'The beach', and you can enter here.
