AP Ed. Mike O'Connor described it as a shot where all the elements lined up.
"You've got beautiful light, a captivating subject, great, clean composition and a minimalist feel. It's a really strong image, that would work well on a magazine cover too," he said.
Glen takes home a 12-month print subscription to AP for winning the competition this month.
We also chose two other special mentions, Fiona Pyke, Solo, and Theresa Mobbs, Misty morning through the wires.

Over on Facebook, Stuart Davies won the people's choice vote, with his image 'The Jetty' having 120 votes at competition close.
