The November issue of Australian Photography is full of handy tips on everything from shooting long exposures, the ins and outs of fast zoom lenses, cave photography and lots more.

The latest issue of Australian Photography magazine features a how-to article for first timers keen to get in to long exposure photography. While this aspect of photography takes patience and perseverance to achieve consistent pleasing results, the effort is well worthwhile. Be warned though, shooting long exposures can be addictive!

Also in this issue, Marc Gafen interviews highly respected professional sailing photographer Andrea Francolini about his craft and the techniques he employs to regularly produce images that are in demand around the world.

Sharpen up - This special feature by pro shooters Marianne Lim and Dylan Toh explains how to take control of contrast in your images during post processing.

As well, this issue takes a look at the untapped photo opportunities to be found underground and the benefits of upgrading your kit lenses to more expensive faster aperture glass. No pain, no gain?

Also in November Australian Photography you'll find a test on the new Nikkor AF-S 300mm f4 PF ED VR lens, plus all of our regular columns, Your Best Shot photo competition focussing this month on ‘Technology’, our Q&A page in which Prashphutita Greco answers all our readers’ queries, and Saima Morel’s advice on how to improve readers’ photos in our popular Image Doctor series.
