Bird lovers rejoice! BirdLife Australia's 'Birdtown' exhibition opens in Sydney this week
A special treat is coming to town for Sydney bird lovers this week, as the Birdtown exhibition opens for viewing at The Corner Gallery in Stanmore.
Birdtown is a BirdLife Australia exhibition that has been timed to coincide with National Bird Week.
The exhibition has been put together to represent a celebration of urban birdlife, and in turn, to raise awareness about the adverse impact that rapid urbanisation has had on local bird species.
The exhibition is set to feature works from photographer Angela Robertson-Buchanan, designer Eggpicnic and printmaker Fiona Roderick.
The exhibition is only on show for a very short run: October 22 – November 1, 2020. To find out more about the exhibition, you can visit the gallery's website here.
Twenty per cent of ticket sales will be donated to BirdLife Australia.
