Drone complaints increase by a massive 1,221% in UK
Drone incidents are on the rise in the UK according to a freedom of information request by the Press Association that reveals a 1,221% (yes, that's 1,221%!) increase in complaints since 2014.
In 2016, 3,456 complaints were logged with local police, which works out to almost 10 a day, compared to 1,237 complaints in 2015 andjust 283 in 2014.
According to CNBC, complaints have included "allegations of snooping neighbours, burglary 'scoping' exercises, prison smuggling and near-misses with aircraft."
It's thought the actual number of drone complaints in the UK might be higher than the reported figures, as some police forces were unable to provide relevant data.
