DxO Labs has released the latest version of its lens-correction software DxO Optics Pro v7.5.5 for Mac and Windows, adding support for new models including the Canon EOS-1D X, Nikon D600 (Elite edition only), Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 and DMC-LX7.

Using a scientific calibration process for most combinations of cameras and lenses, DxO Optics lets users to automatically correct lens optical defects such as distortion, vignetting, chromatic aberrations, and lens softness.

Nearly 400 camera/lens combinations have been added to the library, providing support for additional Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Sigma, Tamron, Tokina, and Zeiss lenses for Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, and Sony cameras.

The software also offers Raw conversion, noise-reduction, exposure, contrast and colour controls and preset effects.

DxO Optics Pro 7 Standard Edition retails for US$169, while the Elite version retails for US$299.
