Epson announce winners of international PANO Awards
Epson has announced the winners of the Epson International Pano Awards 2017, with the 2017 Open competition award going to Jesus M Garcia from Spain.
The competition, now in its 8th year, showcases the work of panoramic photographers worldwide and is the largest competition for panoramic photography of its kind, receiving more than 5377 entries from 1322 photographers in 71 countries, a new record.
Craig Heckenberg, General Manager – Business Division, Epson Australia said, “The Pano Awards go from strength to strength and the benchmark is raised each year. For this reason and many others, Epson is delighted to once again sponsor these excellent awards and salute all the entrants, winners and finalists."
For the Epson International Pano Awards 2017 professional and amateur photographers around the world were invited to enter to compete for prizes including US$22,000 in cash, an Epson SureColor P-7070 printer, an Epson SureColor P-5070 printer and an Epson EB-1776W ultra-slim projector.
The judging panel included some of the world's top panoramic photographers and industry professionals, including Jeff Mitchum, Lucie Debelkova, Aaron Chang, Karl Strand, Christian Fleury, Mark Handy, Monish Mansharamani, Sean Davey, Perri K Schelat, Stefan Hefele, Marcio Cabral, Aaron Spence and Bill Bailey.
