Fujifilm launches paid photography 'gigs' around the country
Fujifilm has launched three unique and paid experiences for photographers to shoot projects around Australia, that the company is calling GFX Gigs.
The three gigs will see three chosen photographers travel to Australian Fashion Week, Mount Kosciuszko, or to experience a performance by Opera Australia at the Sydney Opera House, on assignment for Fujifilm as they test the company's new GFX camera, the GFX100RF.

One photographer will be chosen for each of the gigs based on their portfolio and a short 150-word summary on why they feel they should be hired.
The successful applicants will have their travel and accommodation expenses covered, and will receive $4,000.
In exchange, photographers will need to supply Fujifilm with 30 high-resolution stills based on the brief, participate in a ‘behind the scenes’ content shoot captured by Fujifilm and develop three pieces of 'social content'.
The three gigs include backstage access and a media pit pass at Australian Fashion Week, an aerial photography experience via helicopter at Mount Kosciuszko and a behind the scenes look at a major opera, with the opportunity to capture Opera Australia’s The Marriage of Figaro before its 2025 Opening Night at the Sydney Opera House.
Applications for the assignments are open until April 28. You can find out more about here.
