Fujifilm unveils larger Sydney 'experience' store with photo studio and printing kiosks
Fujifilm has moved its House of Photography store in Sydney to a larger location at 263 George St, Sydney.
The new store offers interactive product displays, a separate studio space, printing facilities and the option to host photography workshops.
The new store is one of just three Fujifilm 'experience' stores in the world and aims to inspire a passion for photography in a space where consumers can get 'hands on' with the latest Fujifilm X, GFX and INSTAX cameras and accessories.
Speaking at the opening on Tuesday, Fujifilm Australia CEO Ryuichi Matoba, said: “Opening Australia’s flagship Fujifilm House of Photography in a new and improved location marks an exciting milestone for not only us, but also the creator community in Sydney.
"Witnessing the phenomenal response to our original brand experience centre underscores the desire for consumers to explore the world of photography and we’re delighted that this growth has led to the opening of a significantly larger interactive hub.
We look forward to welcoming creatives to our new brand experience centre in Sydney soon – and are excited to help capture their moments and imaginations, one frame at a time,” he said.
The small separate space will be available for hire and includes corner cyclorama for seamless backgrounds and strobe lighting gear. The latest Fujifilm X- and GFX-series cameras and Fujinon lenses can also be rented for studio shoots. The studio can also be used for events and workshops.
The store also includes two photo printing kiosks with same day printing, UV printer and photo gifting products.
Fujifilm House of Photography is open to the public from today at 263 George St, Sydney NSW 2000.
