Action camera maker GoPro has launched a new entry-level model, the Hero+, which offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Unlike the Hero+ LCD, the new model does not include a monitor.
The waterproof Hero+ is compatible with the full range of GoPro mounts and accessories and can capture 8-megapixel still images, and record video at 1080/60p and 720/60p resolutions. Still images can be captured in single, time lapse and 'five photos-per-second burst modes'.
The HERO+ is designed to be paired with GoPro’s mobile app which includes tools to quickly create and share short video clips across social media channels.
HERO+ will retail for $299.95 from October 4, 2015.
The GoPro Hero+ is compatible with the existing range of GoPro mounts and accessories.
