This year's Grand Prize Winner, Ivan Silva of Mexico, won the Photographer of the Year Award for his image, Heroe, depicting a young boy "on top of the world".
The image was captured with an Apple iPhone 12 Pro.
Entries in the annual competition are open to photographers using an iPhone or iPad.
The First Place Photographer of the Year Award was awarded to Thea Mihu of Germany for her image, Soy Sauce Village, which uses a formal approach to heighten the photo’s sense of solitude and focus.
The Second Place prize was awarded to Sasa Borozan of Bosnia and Herzegovina and his image Taming Waves.
The Third Place Photographer of the Year Award was awarded to Derek Hager of the United Stated for his photo, Tucson Morning.
Closer to home, Australian photographer Edwin Cabingan won the Architecture category, George Allen was second place in the Animals and Travel categories, and Kaizhou Wang was third place in Abstract.
