Kata has announced two new camera bags aimed at pro shooters. The Kata 3N1-25PL and the 3N1-35PL can each accommodate a professional DSLR body, four to five lenses and a flash unit. There’s also room for a 15.4-inch laptop and personal gear. (The smaller 3N1-25PL has less room for personal gear.)
The bags can be configured in sling mode, with a single shoulder strap; backpack mode, with two straps; or “X” mode, with crossover straps.
In sling configuration the bag can be swung from back to front to allow easy access to the main camera and lens compartments.
Modular Aeriform dividers allow the internal layout of the bags to be customised to suit different camera and lens combinations. Two external zippered pockets allow quick access to accessories without the need to open the main compartments.
The Kata 3N1 25PL (RRP $310) measures 26 x 26 x 46cm, while the 3N1-35PL (RRP $350) measures 33 x 27 x 46cm (length x width x height). They will be available in Australia from August 18.
