Manfrotto's new compact BeFree tripod is designed for travel photographers on the go.
The tripod measures just 40 cm in the closed position, thanks to its unique folding mechanism which enables its legs to fold around the head and quick release plate attachment. Aluminium legs keep the weight down to 1.4kg and it's able to carry a maximum payload of 4 kg, allowing the tripod to support longer zoom lenses.
The tripod is quick to set up and easy to use, with its new solid aluminium ball head and patented leg angle selectors, which allow for two inclinations. The BeFree retails for $250.
