March free monthly comp 'Street photography' - the winners!
Congratulations to Mathew Toll, who's image Scene in Circular Quay Sydney, has taken out our free monthly photo comp for February. The theme was Street photography, and was judged this month by photographer Drew Hopper.
Speaking about the image, Drew said it really stood out.
"It's a winning image because of its beautiful lighting and composition. The backlit scene gives it a timeless feel, like it's from another era. The composition leads your eye from the foreground's geometric patterns to the person bathed in sunlight, creating a captivating street scene that's tastefully processed."
Matthew takes home a 12-month subscription to either AP or Capture mag as his prize for winning the comp this month.
Drew also chose two special mentions, Yongle Ting, Stepping into the light and Jamie Johnson, Heaven's Waiting Room.

Over on Facebook, our People's choice was taken out by Richard Misquitta, with his image Dog and Tuna taking out the vote with more than 60 votes at competition close. Richard wins a digital subscription to AP or Capture.
As always, a huge congratulations to our winners. Our April free photo competition closes very soon - the theme is The ocean and you've got until the end of the month to enter.
