Rotolight goes into administration
Rotolight, the British maker of specialist LED lighting equipment, has entered administration.
The company, which launched in 2009, grew from the founding family’s garden shed to an internationally recognised, award-winning LED lighting brand.
It had also sold more than 140,000 lighting units worldwide, with its gear used on many major films, including James Bond - Skyfall.
Speaking to James Artaius of Digital Camera World, a company spokesperson confirmed the company was in administration, but remained hopeful that the brand may have a future.
In Australia, Rotolight is distributed by C.R Kennedy.
