The Landscape Awards 2023 open for entries

We're delighted to announce a new photography competition celebrating a genre of photography very close to our hearts – landscape.

Few genres of photography capture the eye quite like a well-taken landscape, but it's also a genre with many challenges. In fact as landscape photography icon Ansel Adams once wrote, “Landscape photography is the supreme test of the photographer – and often the supreme disappointment.”

Entries are now open in The Landscape Awards 2023. Photo © Richard Tonkin.

The Landscape Awards, presented by Eizo, is looking to celebrate the spoils of this supreme test, as we seek out Australia’s and New Zealand’s best landscape photographers to share in a prize pool worth more than $24,000 thanks to our amazing sponsors Eizo, OM System, SanDisk Professional, and DJI.

Open to both amateur and professional photographers, the competition has three categories, Landscape, Seascape and Urban. And while the Awards celebrates the work of local photographers, images can be taken anywhere in the world.

In addition, $5 from each entry will be donated to the Australian Conservation Foundation to protect our precious natural landscapes into the future.

You can find out everything you'll need to know about The Landscape Awards on its dedicated website, www.thelandscapeawards.com.au. The competition is open now.
