The winners! AP's free monthly photo comp November 2024 - 'History'

Congratulations to Zara Austin, who has won AP's free monthly photo comp for November 2024, with her image Capturing History - Through the Lens of Time.

"This was a particularly tough comp to judge as the images interpreted the theme so differently," says AP Ed. Mike O'Connor.

"What I liked about Zara's image though was it spoke to the theme while also having interesting lighting that made the subject the hero."

As her prize, Zara takes home a 12-month print subscription to AP or Capture magazine.

We also chose two further special mentions, Brent Durrant, Time Capsule and Adrian Stavovy, charity being kind to the poor (detail).

Over on Facebook, Lucy Hoseck easily took out the People's choice, with 70 votes at competition close for her beautifully lit image Old cork homestead. Lucy takes home a 12-month digital subscription to AP or Capture.
