Who Gives A Crap launches limited edition 'photography series' TP
In one of the more unusual collaborations we've come across, Australian eco-friendly toilet paper company Who Gives A Crap has launched a new collection featuring the work of a number of well-known wildlife photographers on the packs of the company's signature 100% bamboo toilet paper.
Launched in 2012 on the back of a $100,000+ Kickstarter campaign, Who Gives A Crap donates 50% of its profits to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world.
The company's new collection, Earth: A Limited Edition, aims to celebrate the planet while offering climate-related facts designed to educate and entertain while in the loo.
24 of the bog-roll wrappers in the series have been captured by well known photographers including Florian Ledoux, Melissa Groo, and Joel Sartore, among others.
The back of the rolls in the limited edition series feature “care instructions” - actionable suggestions for helping the planet, with the box including imagery of the Earth as well as location-specific facts and a QR code extension that redirects to 'sights and sounds' of the natural world.
If you fancy getting a pack for your place, 48 rolls will set you back $58 from whogivesacrap.org.
