Who won our May 'Night Sky' photo comp?
A big congratulations to Chandra Bong who has won our May ‘Night Sky’ photo competition with a striking image from Glenorchy in New Zealand, as selected by guest judge Jason Futrill (aka Tassiegrammer)
"The overall image quality, obvious high standard of post processing, composition, tonal and colour balance made this image stand out from the rest. The centre balanced composition and the use of the person for a sense of scale also works really well. The post processing and detail of the milky way itself tops of a very high quality image."
Over on Facebook, the People's Choice award went to "Wave Rock Milky Way" by Sebastian Pavone, which picked up more than 400 likes.
Thanks to the good people at NiSi, Chandra has won a NiSi 100x100mm Natural Night Filter (Light Pollution Filter), and Sebastian has won a 12 month digital subscription to either AP or Capture mag.
