Winner of March’s ‘Above’ Photo Comp Announced
Huge congratulations to Matt Williams, winner of the March ‘Above’ competition with his fantastically composed image ‘The Harvest’.
This month's guest judge, Master of Photography with the AIPP, Nick Rains, chose Matt’s image as the overall winner:
"Some really outstanding images in this selection - hard to choose a winner. A lot of aerial images and I do like the graphic results one can get from a drone looking straight down. Out of all of these I like the one Matt Williams has come up with best. Classically composed with rigid geometry, it's a lovely semi-abstract shot which nevertheless leaves you in no doubt about what you are looking at. Ticks all the boxes for me!”
The People’s Choice winner with 290 likes on our Facebook page is ‘Lancelin Dusk' by Brenten Sandry.
Congratulations to our overall winner Matt who has won a Seagate 10TB BarraCuda Pro drive valued at $789 thanks to our sponsors Seagate - find more info about it here. Brenten has won himself a 12-month subscription to AP or Capture mag.
