Your chance to buy work from some of Australia's best photographers at the MapH auction
The work of many of our finest photographers will go under the hammer at the annual MAPh (Museum of Australian Photography) X Artist Photography auction on June 6.
This year, images by leading Australian artists including Murray Fredericks, Anne Zahalka, Petrina Hicks, The Huxleys, Tamara Dean, and more will be represented, with the proceeds set to be split evenly between the Museum and the artist.
MAPh says the catalogue is curated to include pieces from emerging, mid-career and established artists.
It's important to note that the auction isn't actually at The Museum of Australian Photography, but will be held at the James Makin Gallery at 89 Islington St, Collingwood VIC 3066.
Artworks will be available to view prior to the auction at James Makin Gallery 12 – 5pm, Tuesday 4, Wednesday 5 & Thursday 6 June.
The event opens at 6pm with the auction starting at 7pm.
