Video: A simple Lightroom trick to speed up your dodging and burning

Photographer and educator Serge Ramelli recently shared an interesting video that may just be one of the most useful additions to your editing workflow we've seen in ages - so much so he calls it “the best kept secret to Dodge and Burn in Lightroom.”

Although videos with bold claims like this are dime a dozen, this is a genuinely useful tip that will save you time in editing. 

The crux of the tip is using Lightroom's range mark paired with luminosity, to automatically apply natural looking dodging and burning adjustments quickly and efficiently. 

The tip isn't exclusive to landscapes either, and Ramelli demonstrates the same action can be applied to portraiture as well.
