Video: How to colour grade your photos with Lightroom Classic

Comments Comments

Learning to correctly colour grade your images is an important, if not slightly misunderstood, part of an editing workflow.

So if you're unsure why you should do it and how it works, then this video from Christian Möhrle of The Phlog Photography, is a good starting point.

It's especially helpful as you can follow along with the tutorial by downloading the raw photo as well.

Möhrle starts by making basic adjustments to bring down highlights, raise shadows and add clarity, before moving on to masking, colour grading, and finally sharpening.

With that out of the way, the final image is a much bolder and more dynamic shot than the raw.
