Video: Shoot macro in 10 minutes
if you've ever wanted to give macro photography a try but have been overwhelmed by the plethora of confusing gear this genre is known for, then this useful video by Micael Widell is worth watching.
In it, he explains the basics of macro photography in 10 minutes.
The video is aimed at beginner photographers who understand the basics of photography, and following it should get you pretty good results with a minimum of gear (and expense).
The best tips are around the cheap hacks for light modifiers - including the humble A4 piece of paper if you're really stretched for cash, but there's also tips for camera settings and framing.
