Deborah Walker, A Disappearing River (Landscape 2019)

A passion of mine is taking photos of our great Australian Outback but seeing how little water remains in this once mighty, flowing river saddened my heart. Used to transport people and produce not that long ago, the effects of drought and farming have taken its toll. In places there is no water at all, the dry river bed a grim reminder of how quickly our precious water resources are drying up.
