Sally Hinton, A Good Mugging (ANIMAL & NATURE 2024)

In Hervey Bay (Platypus Bay) it is common to be mugged; not by bad people but by some very inquisitive sub-adult humpback whales. They are on their migration with all the full adults but are not involved in the serious side of procreation. They have a rest in the Bay before heading back south to Antarctica and amuse themselves by mugging the whale watch boats that specially come out to see them. So being mugged in Hervey Bay is a very good thing!
