Jane Pearce, A night at Catherine's Palace, St Petersburg (Travel 2019)

We were lucky to get a night admission to Catherine's Palace in St Petersburg without the usual huge daily crowds of visitors which creates problems for photographers We were allowed to take photos without flash in the famous Amber Room which day visitors are apparently not allowed to do We were also treated to musicians and dancers which added to the richness of the experience
