Dianne Galbraith, A wiry tale (B&W 2024)

I set off in the late afternoon with my canvas chair, a pair of leather gloves, a glass of red wine and my camera to a spot on our property which backs onto a dairy paddock. With the neighbour's cat asleep in the hedge behind me and the open vista allowing no distractions I had days of enjoyment playing with a roll of wire and a fence post. I positioned the wire and just let it fall. The result was a series of abstracts which I could never emulate.
