Nou de Souza, Abandoned (August theme: Perspective)

The photo features a singular twig like vine that had been hanging from the ceiling in an abandoned home. On the shelf behind the vine lay a small toy, broken and dusty. I stumbled upon the sight and was entranced by the growing of new beginnings over old stories. I don't know the story of what was once there, who lived, why they left, and I don't know the future for the home. However, I do know that over things that have broken is the opportunity for life.
