Its easy to overlook the humble household chook as an object of beauty - so i climbed into their dusty pen and sat in the dust amused by their suspicious yet inquisitive natures. The early light lit their combs and made shiny their feathers as they assembled around me hoping upon hope i would open the gate to their free range freedom.
