Lynn Rowley, Birds of the Galapagos (ANIMAL & NATURE 2024)

The Galapagos Islands have an abundance of bird species as shown in these images. The regal Blue Heron is preening his plumage in the sunlight whilst the Flamingo is stalking through the water in search of food. The Galapagos Hawk is waiting for an opportunity to steal the Sea Lion’s fresh afterbirth whilst the mother protects her newborn pup. The Blue Footed Booby is incubating it’s clutch of eggs on the sand.
