Greg Wyncoll, Black-shouldered Kites (Wildlife and Animal 2018)
This year Jerrabomberra Wetlands, a small reserve in the heart of Canberra played host to a beautiful pair of mating Black-shouldered Kites. Over the course of Winter and Spring I was lucky enough to photograph the Kites on many occasions and I got to know the birds very well. These birds also inspired me to progressively upgrade my camera equipment and I hope become a better photographer. It was hard to pick my best 4 from hundreds of pictures but I hope you like the ones I have chosen.
