Kathy Brown, Blue satin (ANIMAL & NATURE 2022)
This beautiful male satin bower bird came every day and hung around our camp while staying in the Gibraltar Range National Park, NSW. He was one of many in the area which consists of a real mix of forest types and many species of birdlife. The weather was varying and he posed beautifully when the sun appeared showing the amazing sleek and glossy blue feathers of these beautiful birds. Their contrasted pink and purple eye is also a stunning feature.
