Lisa Hughes, Call of the Fairy Wren (Wildlife and Animal 2017)

Ever since I spotted my first variegated fairy wren (and got only a very blurry photo) I have been enchanted by these tiny birds and have learned to listen carefully for their soft calls through the undergrowth. My entry is a selection of images captured this spring.
