In Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, located on the South-West border in southern China, there is a minority of generations living in the stone mountain area in Napo County. In Napo County where there is still a heavy focus on agricultural production. However, with the urban landscape growing, many young and strong men must seek work in China’s populous cities to earn more money to send back to their families. The women, children and elders, who are left to stay at home, can only depend on each other daily. National holidays become the only times when the entire family reunites as the breadwinners return from the outside. Photos were taken on August 2017.
