Somdatta Ganguly, Constant Vigilance (ANIMAL & NATURE 2023)

It was a very windy and wet day. Our hiking to Hengifoss, waterfall in Fljótsdalshreppur, East Iceland, was marred by the bad weather. However, while retuning, we were compensated with a stunning autumnal colour display. Naturally, I got down to capture the landscape. However, I was rewarded with more! A couple of Icelandic sheep were grazing in that vivid backdrop! One of them was constantly keeping an eye on me - to understand if I was or was not up to no good. The other one was rubbing its horn against a red plant. After a while, they thought that they have had enough of me and nonchalantly crossed over to the other side of the road - but not before letting me take some beautiful pictures of them!
