Jill Hardcastle, Country Life (Single Shot 2021)

Sunshine breaks through a heavy morning mist over a property in the beautiful Scenic Rim. I was drawn to this scene as it reminded me of the Golden Age of Dutch painters - a scene of ordinary life, contrast between tones of light and dark, texture and rich colour palettes of earth tones and highlights.
